Game Recap

Edsel Ford finished the campaign with a resounding 11-1 victory over Annapolis. Tyler Szostek too the bump to start the game and Dillon Deweyer finished up the five inning affair. Annapolis took the lead in the first as an error opened the game and then a double down the line scored the only run for Annapolis. Leading the hitting parade for Edsel was Steven Gilbert who collected two hits along with Dillon Deweyer. A nice squeeze play by Ty Wyka tied the game at 2 as the home boys continued to swing the lumber. Other guys contributing to the successful win were John Herron, the Crossland twins, Julian Hernandez, William Debiasi, Caleb Atwood, and Ian Hall. Collecting two RBI’s and the final hit of the game and the season was Captain Max Marion with a frozen rope double to left center. A great way to finish the game and the season! The JV Thunderbirds finished 12-7.
