The team won their final regular season game of the year on the road against Melvindale by the score of 77-47. Senior guard, Jalal Baydoun scored a game-high 26 points and added six assists in the victory. With his scoring output, Jalal became the all-time leading scorer in Dearborn Public School history with 1,545 career points. He broke the old record of 1,538 career points which was held by Ali Farhat of Dearborn High. Senior guard, Hakeem Fitahey poured in 25 points, junior guard Yousef Hussein added six points and junior Ismail Albaneh had nine rebounds in the win. With the win, the team improved to 16-4 on the season and 10-3 in the league which was good for second place. The next game will be against cross-town rival Fordson in the first round of district play. The game will be on Monday, February, 25th at 5:00 p.m. at Detroit Western
